ACCOUNTANT

Location : Kolombong

Job Description :

  • Preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting for the Group of Companies.
  • Preparation of Tax Computation, SST and other tax regulatory submissions.
  • Responsible for financial related activities including accounting, financial reports and budget
  • Manage and supervise accounting team by developing strong control environment and processes.
  • Performing financial analysis and ensuring all accounts within Group are updated on timely basis.
  • Adhering to financial reporting standards, company policies and control procedure and related statutory/tax requirements.
  • Provide support to the Head of Departments and Top Management.
  • Liaison with external stakeholders e.g. Bankers, Company Secretary, Tax/Audit Agents, Government Parties and other Authorities.
  • Any ad hoc duties when support is required.

 

Job Requirement:

  1. Candidate must possess at least an Accounting Professional Certificate (ACCA, CPA, MIA, etc.), Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
  2. At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  3. Fair knowledge in company taxation, SST and Company Act 2016 are an added advantage.
  4. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and UBS Accounting Software.

  2. Plan, lead and manage project teams and work closely with Management to ensure effective execution of Company strategies.
  3. Managing sub-contractors and assigning resources to deliver works within budget, time and quality standards. Monitor project progress and sub-contractors performance.
  4. Provide engineering advice to the operation team in respect to the project design and construction. Responsible to resolve any technical and project implementation issues.
  5. Manage site operations and activities in the most efficient and effective manner to achieve deadlines. To review progress against plans and contractual arrangements.

 

Requirements:

  1. Minimum Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
  2. Prefer candidates with minimum 2 years’ working experience related to road maintenance.
  3. Good command in written Bahasa Malaysia and English would be an added advantage.
  4. Possess valid driving license D & own transportation.

Junior Quantity Surveyor

Location : Kota Kinabalu

Key Responsibilities

  1. To do checking for budget bill, calculation error, typing error, preliminaries computation and setting out.
  2. To do the interim claim & final claim checking and calculation of quantities.
  3. To prepare the final claim on measurement procedures.
  4. To prepare statement of final account with all supporting documents.
  5. To do detailed measurement and rate computation as required
  6. To compile contractor claims for items description, computation and photos.
  7. To provide overall assistance and support in periodic, emergency, routine claims or works order preparation.
  8. Also performs other duties as instructed by immediate superior.

 

Job Requirements

  1. Possess Diploma / Certificate in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management  or equivalent
  2. Good Control in written English, Bahasa Melayu. Ability to verse in Mandarin language would be an added advantage
  3. Minimum 1-2 years working experience in the construction industry
  4. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply

Qualification

JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • Lead and develop the workshop and warehouse teams to consistently meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Plan and structure work schedules for mechanics and purchasing staff to optimize productivity.
  • Provide guidance on quality standards, ensuring teams meet performance targets and deliver high-quality work.
  • Oversee the preparation of equipment for delivery and collection, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure suppliers meet company standards in quality, pricing, and reliability.
  • Manage the housekeeping and overall organization of the warehouse, ensuring a clean and well-structured environment.
  • Foster a safe and healthy workplace, upholding high cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Lead the negotiation of contracts with suppliers and service providers, ensuring favorable terms for the company
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure suppliers meet company standards in quality, pricing, and reliability.
  • Support and implement long-term strategies to optimize workshop and purchasing operations.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to contribute to overall operational success

Requirement:

  1. Minimum Diploma / Degree in Business Administration or relevant field
  2. Minimum 5 years’ working experience in procurement. Experience in workshop management will be an added advantage
  3. Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
  4. Strong knowledge of procurement best practices & workshop operations.
